Hi, More than one month into the Tenerife lifestyle, we feel happy to be walking with shorts at the end of November!
Being in an island in the middle of the ocean without any of our electronic instruments has brought us back to strip down our music and we are now writing songs with purely the congas, body percussion and tap dance. With 6 songs written in 2 weeks and more boiling up in the cooking pot, we feel inspired to keep working and look forward to performing them and others live in the UK.
This new acoustic project is called 'Soapbox 21' - you can find out more about it and get involved on this page.
At the same time, we have started working on ‘Hold Back the Water’, a song which was recorded near Colchester in 'Card Trick Music Studios' with Josh Abbott from ‘Peace Productions', and is bringing back memories of sounds and beats of melancholy. This song will be launched alongside a video of a unique character based in Barcelona, who walks his path of life with creativity and self confidence for who he really is.
This will be published for the Christmas period.
Recently we have just released a new video for tune 'All the Good People'. Filmed in Colchester in the UK it features people who randomly chose to take part in the street. You can watch it below.
Featured song - All the Good People
A snapshot of life in Colchester in the 2020. All people in the video were randomly asked on the day of filming.
